Delanco, NJ (April, 2007) – MX2, a product from the Stylex Design Group, has been introduced to target the executive, conference, and task segments of the market. Characterized by its slim, flexible back, MX2 is a product that can solve many workplace needs based on its clean, accessible aesthetic and its unusual degree of comfort.

The back of MX2 has been comfort engineered to maximize user satisfaction through the use of an elastomeric subsurface which is pulled over a resilient steel frame and covered by a thin layer of foam. This subassembly is, in turn, capped with whatever upholstery is specified. Because there is no plywood or plastic substrate, the back is extremely comfortable for all users, no matter what their dimensions. Though exceedingly durable, the back lends the entire chair a light and inviting presence.

Two controls are available. One is a swivel tilt. The other is a synchro-tilt with multi-position lock-out, fingertip tilt tension and optional seat depth adjustment. Pneumatic seat height is standard. Bases may be either plastic or cast aluminum, and trim is black or chrome. Upholstered cushions utilize CFC-free polyurethane foam.
